Lamoda Launches Art Project "Intersections" with Contemporary Artists

May 30, 2024 — Online retailer Lamoda has announced the launch of a new series of art collaborations with contemporary artists. The first project, titled "Intersections," was created in partnership with the online contemporary art gallery and media outlet "Ob'edineniye."

The core idea of the project is reflected in its name — intersections. It's about finding common ground and creating new connections through co-creativity. These intersections of meanings, styles, and directions give birth to new forms that merge fashion and art.

As part of the first collaboration, Lamoda and the "Ob'edineniye" gallery brought together artists to create unique works on the theme of intersections. The project features three artists: Ritul, Dima Zhukov, and Alexandra Azovtseva. Each artist created vibrant paintings in their unique style, exploring the concept of intersections — of people, eras, styles, images, and forms. The curation of the works was handled by Anna Merman, the founder of the online gallery.
